MEET THE FOUNDER

Lauralynn Baxter didn’t set out to “start a bookkeeping firm.” She set out to raise the standard.

Throughout her career, she recognized an opportunity within the profession. In many cases, bookkeeping was approached as transactional — focused on recording activity rather than stewarding it. Files were maintained, but not always fully leveraged as the strategic foundation they are meant to be.

She understood that accurate financial records are not clerical; they are strategic. They are foundational. They are the difference between operating reactively and leading with clarity.

Lauralynn believed bookkeeping should operate from a place of precision, accountability, and deep respect for the business owner’s vision. She believed clients deserved proactive communication, structured reporting, and a calm, elevated experience — where clarity replaces uncertainty and preparation replaces urgency.

Most business owners don’t realize how much rests on their books: cash flow decisions, tax planning, financing approvals, payroll accuracy, and expansion strategy. When financial data lacks precision, every decision built on it carries unnecessary risk.

She wanted to change the experience.

That is why she founded ProBooks Accounting — to elevate the profession through disciplined financial stewardship, refined systems, and an unwavering commitment to accuracy.

At ProBooks, bookkeeping is not routine processing. It is the foundation of a well-run, well-positioned business.

And foundations demand integrity.
